Oil tanks
The US crude-oil inventories saw a higher-than-expected drop, while diesel and distillates stocks increased.
Oil stocks decreased by 4.6 million barrels in the week ended Dec. 1, compared to forecasts of 1.3 million barrels, according to the Energy Information.
Diesel inventories rose by 5.4 million barrels. Distillate fuel stocks added nearly 1.3 million barrels.
