Riyad Bank CEO resigns; Nadir Al-Koraya takes helm

Riyad Bank’s board of directors accepted, on Dec. 12, the resignation of Tareq Al-Sadhan from his position as CEO of the bank to continue his professional career. The resignation will be effective from Jan. 31, 2024, the bank said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The board also resolved to appoint Nadir Al-Koraya as the CEO starting from Feb. 1, 2024, subject to obtaining the no-objection from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

Al-Koraya holds a master’s degree in business from the University of California. He has undertaken various executive and leadership programs, such as the Leadership Program from Harvard Business School, the bank noted. He also has more than 30 years of experience in banking and has held numerous leadership positions, the latest being the Chief of Treasury and Investment at Riyad Bank.
