Islamic finance hits SAR 2.14T in Q3 2023: SAMA

Shariah-compliant finance contracts in Saudi Arabia rose by 10% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.14 trillion in Q3 2023, data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.

 

These agreements cover Murabaha, Tawarruq (securitization), finance leasing, Mudarabah and Musharaka, amongst others, including credit cards.
