The Ministry of Commerce imposed a SAR 50,000 fine on a car agency in Khamis Mushait for failing to provide spare parts within 14 days, as required for parts of rare demand.

During routine inspections, the ministry's teams discovered a car dealership violating the commercial agencies' system and regulations, as well as warranty, maintenance, and spare parts rules, by failing to meet the required spare parts provision timeline, the ministry said in a statement.

The violation was immediately referred to the relevant committee, which reviewed the case and imposed a SAR 50,000 fine in accordance with the commercial agency system rules.
