Foundation stone laid for SAR 7.2B Avenues-Khobar project

At the cornerstone laying ceremony

Prince Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, presided on Dec. 20 over the cornerstone ceremony for the Avenues-Al Khobar project.

With a value exceeding SAR 7.2 billion, the project will be implemented by Shomoul Holding and is anticipated to be inaugurated in the first half of 2027.

The total construction area of the project is 833,000 square meters, with a leasable area of 170,000 square meters, said Abdullah Al-Fozan, Vice Chairman of Shomoul Holding, according to a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report.

Mohammed Al-Shaya, Chairman of Shomoul Holding, said the complex consists of eight diverse shopping areas and restaurants, towers including international hotels, residential apartments, and office spaces, as well as halls for events and exhibitions.

According to the statement, Avenues-Al Khobar project will provide more than 10,000 job opportunities in the retail, entertainment, and service sectors in the Eastern Province.

The complex comprises several shopping areas, and includes 10 cinemas, cafes, restaurants, public gardens, and entertainment halls suitable for all age groups.
