ZATCA issues rules of customs procedures

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) issued the rules governing customs procedures, including clarifications about the procedures related to the customs system.
 

The move aims to clearly educate customers, taxpayers, and those interested in imports, exports, and transit of goods, ZATCA noted.
 

It added that the move also aims to boost awareness of customs procedures to enhance compliance with customs laws and regulations to achieve flexibility in customs clearance and speed of completing customs procedures. This is in addition to supporting trade facilitation initiatives through the Kingdom's land, sea, and air customs ports.
