Saudi bank loans granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector rose in November 2023 by 10% to SAR 2.66 trillion from nearly SAR 2.42 trillion in the same month last year, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). 

 

Private sector lending also increased in November 2023 by 10% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.52 trillion. 

 

Meanwhile, loans granted to public non-financial institutions jumped 17% YoY to about SAR 146.6 billion by the end of the same month.
