President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), Khalid Al-Salem
The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) plans to double the current investments of about SAR 175 billion in Ras Al-Khair over the coming period, President Khalid Al-Salem said.
Speaking during the Future Minerals Forum, the top official indicated that RCJY works to achieve integration among its sectors, in addition to fulfilling industry requirements of energy and services by implementing more infrastructure works.
Furthermore, the RCJY is keen on waste management and is focusing on environmental impact. It also works on benefitting from waste treatment, as 65% of it is recycled and transformed into environment-friendly products, said Al-Salem.
He also pointed out that the commission will be a hub for green hydrogen, carbon capture and renewable energy, to attract more global investments.
