Ali Al-Omair, Vice President for Business Development at the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), said the authority has enabled more than 1,600 mining plants to engage in investments in the Kingdom through a number of solutions and services provided to local and foreign investors.

MODON seeks to develop partnerships with local and international investors to expand the number of factories contributing to mining in the Kingdom, Al-Omair added during his participation in the Future Minerals Forum.

He pointed out that the authority is working to open the doors of investment to develop local and international demand for mineral outputs and increase local content.
