Saudi Vision 2030 eyes ‘unprecedented’ economic diversification: Minister

Saudi Arabia aims to bring in an unprecedented economic transformation through diversification outlined in Vision 2030, said Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Commerce. 

Speaking at a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Al-Kassabi underscored the significance of tapping into the potential for energy discoveries in the African continent through strategic partnerships with the private sector.  

Within the African trade sector, there is a primary emphasis on two key segments: distribution services and tourism, the minister added. 

Al-Kassabi said that the African continent is rich in wealth and human resources, affirming that the Kingdom is proactively involved in elevating African collaborative efforts through forums and summits.
