President of the Board of Grievances and Administrative Judicial Council, Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, launched today, Jan. 22, Saudi Arabia’s first Administrative Enforcement Court.

The enforcement law on judicial rulings and administrative documents helps the Kingdom achieve judicial security and contributes to supporting the investment environment, social and tourism development, and the means of attracting them, the board said in a statement.

The Board of Grievances derives its jurisdiction from the enforcement law by forced implementation against administrative bodies, in accordance with the rules and regulations set out by the law. It includes a penalty for refraining from implementation or exploiting influence or authority to prevent implementation and penalties of imprisonment and fines, considering them corruption crimes and major crimes requiring arrest.

Minister of Commerce Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi said that the Administrative Enforcement Court will constitute a judicial shift that will enhance the commercial and investment environment.

Al Qasabi explained in his account on the X platform that the Administrative Enforcement Court is the product of the enforcement law before the Board of Grievances, which achieves judicial justice with remarkable digital development.
