The Real Estate Future Forum
Saudi Justice Minister Walid Al-Samaani launched the unified e-platform for estate distribution, which aims to speed up and streamline the estate distribution process, from the decedent's death to the heirs receiving their rightful shares.
Speaking at the Real Estate Future Forum in Riyadh, Al-Samaani explained that the e-platform aims to streamline estate distribution procedures, promote electronic efficiency, and reduce estate division disputes by properly categorizing them, providing solutions to various issues, and automating most of the process.
The e-platform is based on three pillars, determination and notarization, amicable distribution, and enforced distribution.
The first approach allows heirs to obtain both a certificate confirming their status as heirs and an estate certificate through seamless data shared with authorities such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi Central Bank, and the Capital Market Authority.
