Real estate compliant with standards of group housing for individuals leaps 90% in 2023

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources stated that the residential real estate compliant with the standards of the national program of group housing for individuals in industrial establishments jumped by 90% in 2023.

The number of residential real estate that complies with the program standards rose from 167 to 317, with a capacity of 134,320 beds, the ministry said on X platform.

The program aims to achieve seven strategic goals, including raising awareness and spreading the culture of a healthy residential environment, as well as promoting the group housing system and increasing its supply to match demand.

They also include developing the licensing and control procedures, and reducing population overcrowding and congestion in group housing, according to data available with Argaam.
