Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) terminated Amr AlMadani from his post as CEO of the Royal Commission for AlUla, for alleged abuse of authority and money laundering, according to an official source at Nazaha.

AlMadani illegally secured SAR 206 million worth of contracts from King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) for National Talents Co. before joining the commission and then nominally divested his ownership in that firm. AlMadani recommended National Talents for government awards and the company obtained SAR 1.3 million in projects.
