Saudi banks’ investments in T-bonds up SAR 30B in 2023

Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds rose by about SAR 30 billion year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 540.3 billion in 2023, new data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.

 

Thus, banks’ investments in treasury bonds continued to soar YoY for the eleventh successive year, as shown in the table below:
