Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SASCO) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Co. (EVIQ) to enhance cooperation and exchange experience in the field of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
The company said in a statement that this partnership aims to provide a conducive environment for the growth of the EV industry in the Kingdom by developing and improving the infrastructure.
Both companies will collaborate to offer innovative and sustainable solutions for the development of the EV charging network, including the establishment of fast-charging stations and public stations in all cities and provinces of the Kingdom.
SASCO will contribute its expertise and resources in technical and operational services, while EVIQ will leverage its experience in developing and implementing infrastructure projects for the EV charging network.
The partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the growth of the local EV sector, which will help providing a sustainable environment for the use of EVs and encourage more individuals and companies to adopt them.
