The Public Investment Fund (PIF) will hold the second edition of the PIF Private Sector Forum on Feb. 6-7, 2024. The event aims to foster partnerships between the PIF, its portfolio companies, and the private sector to boost the local economy.

The forum is a platform for cooperation and partnerships to enable the private sector to lead economic growth and achieve the national development goals. In addition, the event will foster the localization of local supply chains in the main sectors.

Furthermore, the event will witness some partnerships between the private sector, the fund, and its portfolio companies. These partnerships will help boost the fund's efforts with the private sector to develop the local economy.

The forum's programs seek to review the various aspects of cooperation and partnership between the PIF and its companies, and the local private sector. They also aim to offer opportunities for direct communication with representatives of the PIF and its subsidiaries, in addition to reviewing the fund's latest programs that aim to empower the private sector. Moreover, the fund's programs seek to provide the opportunity for suppliers wishing to register with the PIF's subsidiaries.

The event provides the opportunity for the fund and its portfolio companies to hold talks with elite figures of major government agencies about the importance of the private sector's role in boosting the Kingdom’s economy. They will also review the success stories between the private sector and the PIF, as well as the opportunities for cooperation that are available to the private sector in the fund's major projects and emerging sectors in the Kingdom.

More than 8,000 representatives from the private sector companies will participate in the event. It will also feature nearly 80 booths for companies and over 100 senior figures from the public and private sectors.

The forum will also feature a number of workshops managed by experts from the fund and its subsidiaries, where important information will be provided to the private sector about the localization investments and supply chain opportunities. They will discuss the expected demand for key products and services, which help the private sector make investment decisions.

Argaam will deliver exclusive coverage for the forum events and direct coverage for panels.
