The launch of the National Automotive and Vehicles Academy is one of the Ministry of Industry’s successive steps in investing and focusing on building strong human capital. This human capital aligns the Kingdom with developed countries in advanced industries that the National Industrial Strategy (NIS) focuses on, Faris Alsaqabi, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Human Capacity Development told Argaam.
On the sidelines of the second edition of the PIF Private Sector Forum, Alsaqabi stated that the US electric car maker Lucid Motors and Ceer are two of the major players in the automotive industry in the Kingdom and are also members of the academy.
The academy focuses on all supply chains with their various specializations in the vehicle and automobile industry, the technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution(4IR), and national cadres who will be a vital tributary to promote the Kingdom as a leader in the automotive industry.
