The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by King Salman, approved today, Feb. 20, to extend the decision on exempting small enterprises with a minimum of nine workers, including the owner, from paying the financial considerations for three years.

The Cabinet also gave the green light for the structures and organizational guides of the Ministries of Sports and Education, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Moreover, a draft memorandum of understanding to establish the Saudi-Brazilian Coordination Council was approved during the meeting.

In April 2020, the Cabinet exempted small businesses with at least nine employees, including the owner, from the expat levy for three years. According to Argaam data, the decision was then extended for one year, beginning in January 2024.
