Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports rose in November 2023 by 4% year-on-year (YoY) to almost SAR 67.2 billion, according to data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Meanwhile, merchandise imports declined 9%, or by nearly SAR 6.75 billion, month-on-month (MoM), as follows:

Imports of machinery and mechanical appliances, electrical equipment, and their parts came on top in November, representing 25%, or SAR 16.8 billion, of the total Saudi imports.

Saudi Arabia’s imports came mainly from China in November, at SAR 16.7 billion or for 25% of the total.
The US and the UAE followed with SAR 5.6 billion and SAR 4.6 billion, respectively.
