Arabian Contracting Services Co. (Al Arabia) announced that its subsidiary, Al Arabia OOH Digital Co., signed a contract for advertising billboards in Dubai.
The agreement involves the installation, operation, and maintenance of billboards in collaboration with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the contract, spanning 10 years and five months, includes a setup period lasting 31 days for static billboards and 182 days for digital billboards.
The total number of advertising boards is 294, which are spread across Dubai, including Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum Road, Al Khail Road, Umm Suqeim Road, and Al Khawaneej Road.
Among these, 85 are digital billboards and 209 are static billboards of various types and sizes, with the possibility of converting static into digital ones.
There are 143 billboards of Megacom type, including 63 digital and 80 static; 18 billboards of Unipoles type, including 12 digital and six static; 23 billboards of Bridge banner type, including 10 digital and 13 static, and110 static billboards of Lamppost type.
The financial impact of the contract is expected to appear in the third quarter of 2024, the statement added.
According to data available on Argaam, Al Arabia’s UAE-based subsidiary, Al Arabia OOH, was awarded, on Jan. 15, 2023, a SAR 533.9 million contract by RTA to install, operate, and maintain advertising billboards in Dubai.
