Human Resources Development Fund’s (HADAF) Director General Turki Al-Jawini


Saudi Arabia’s Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) supported the employment of 374,000 citizens in private sector establishments during 2023, Director General Turki Al-Jawini said.

 

At a dialogue session within Al Baha meetings, Al-Jawini added that the total amount of disbursement on training, guidance and empowerment support programs provided by the fund last year amounted to SAR 8.7 billion.

 

Nearly 1.9 million citizens and about 120,000 establishments operating in all vital sectors in the Kingdom benefited from the programs and products of the fund, he stated.

 

The fund’s new strategy, launched in the first quarter of 2023, enhanced the benefit of individuals and establishments from the fund's programs and services, he noted.

 

The strategy aims to achieve three main goals: Enhancing the development of national human capital to meet the requirements of the advanced labor market, improve the relationship between supply and demand in the labor market, and, empowerment and sustainability in the private sector.

 

Meanwhile, Al-Jawini stressed that the fund is keen to keep pace with the development renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom in all fields, and the accompanying development and changes in the needs of the business sector.
