Several technology investments signed on Day 3 of LEAP 2024

Several investments were announced in technology, digital infrastructure, and soft were during the third day of LEAP 2024 conference, the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) said on X platform.

 

Among these investments, Aramco Digital and Groq announced plans to build the world's largest artificial intelligence (AI) computing center.

 

The ministry added that Aramco Digital collaborated with LTIMindtree to establish an IT services center in Saudi Arabia, valued at $45.8 million. Additionally, it partnered with Intel to create the first Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) development center in Saudi Arabia to enhance innovation and technological progress.

 

ACES is set to expand its operations and develop the infrastructure for various projects. It will also launch a project to localize the GSM program management system and smart towers, at a value of $618 million.

 

Furthermore, Nokia will establish a regional logistics center in Saudi Arabia. It also announced the second phase of a maintenance center in Riyadh, with a major expansion through the addition of the 5G radio wave technology.

 

Honor is working on expanding its regional presence by launching several initiatives at $100 million.

 

Cyberani will collaborate with Thales to enhance the industrial system security in the region and bolster cybersecurity.
