Saudi Aramco’s updates on performance-linked dividends

Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) plans to pay performance-linked dividends for 2022 and 2023 at SAR 161.70 billion ($43.12 billion) in 2024, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The remaining performance-linked dividends for 2022 and 2023 will be distributed in Q2, Q3 and Q4 2024, after being approved by the board of directors.

 

The dividend’s amounts as well as the record dates will be disclosed after the board approval, considering the company’s financial position and ability to finance its obligations including capital growth plans, and in accordance with the company’s dividend payment policy.

 

Saudi Aramco announced the payment of total dividends at SAR 116.5 billion ($31.07 billion) for Q4 2023. This includes ordinary dividends at SAR 0.3145 a share, totaling SAR 76.09 billion ($20.29 billion), and performance-linked dividend of SAR 0.1670 a share, totaling SAR 40.41 billion ($10.78 billion), based on annual financial results of 2022-2023, Argaam reported.
