The Citizen Account Program started today, March 10, depositing SAR 3.3 billion into the accounts of eligible beneficiaries for the current month.
The total number of eligible beneficiaries under the 76th installment reached 10.4 million, the program said in a statement, adding that 72% of those eligible received the required support.
The total support granted to beneficiaries by the program reached SAR 194.5 billion, including SAR 2.5 billion in compensation for retroactive amounts, as the following table shows:

In July 2023, a royal directive extended the Citizen Account Program with enhanced criteria for better support efficiency and wider reach. Accordingly, registration continues, along with three more months of additional financial support for beneficiaries, until December 2024, according to data compiled by Argaam.
The step came in continuation of the royal directive issued in July 2022 to provide additional financial support to beneficiaries of the Citizen Account Program until 2022-end.
This is in addition to royal directives last January and April to extend the program, provide additional support, and continue to open registration for potential beneficiaries until July 2023, under the previously announced controls.
Another directive also entailed the extension of the current Citizen Account Program and granted temporary additional support to beneficiaries for two more months until September 2023, before being extended until December 2023.
