The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's flag
Saudi Arabia's international reserve assets rose by SAR 88.2 billion, or 5%, month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 1.70 trillion in March, according to the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
On a yearly basis, the Kingdom’s foreign reserve assets grew 4%, or SAR 62.4 billion.

Saudi Arabia’s reserve assets include investments in foreign securities, foreign cash and deposits, reserve position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF), special drawing rights (SDRs), and monetary gold.

Foreign currency reserves, representing about 95% of total assets, surged by nearly 4% year-on-year (YoY) in March to SAR 1.61 trillion.
On the other hand, IMF reserves dropped 10% YoY, with SDRs also down 1% YoY, as shown below:
