The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) headquarters

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations into a number of criminal and administrative cases through 1,790 inspection tours in April 2024.

 

Nazaha investigated 268 persons and arrested 166 suspects, of whom some were released on bail for being involved in bribery, money laundering, and forgery, Nazaha said on its X platform (formerly Twitter).

 

The arrested included employees at the Ministries of Interior, Defense, National Guards, Justice, Health, Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, as well as Human Resources and Social Development.
