Saudi bank loans granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector rose 11% to SAR 2.75 trillion in March 2024, compared to nearly SAR 2.48 trillion in March 2023, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

Private sector lending also increased 10% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.59 trillion for the same month. 

 

Meanwhile, loans granted to non-financial government institutions jumped 21% YoY to about SAR 157.5 billion by the end of March.
