Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment
Saudi Arabia attracted additional investments during the first quarter of 2024, in an accelerated, significant manner, paving the way for fulfilling the Saudi Vision 2030, Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih said.
At a dialogue session at the opening of the Saudi-British GREAT Futures Initiative Conference in Riyadh, Al-Falih stated that many companies have chosen Saudi Arabia as an incubator for promising investments.
Saudi Arabia welcomed about 52% of these investments from the UK and is seeking more, he continued.
The UK is the second largest investor in Saudi Arabia, given the latter’s substantial footprint in financial services, according to the minister.
He pointed out that the Saudi Vision 2030 aims to boost investments in many fields. Further, Saudi Arabia is making more investments to improve income, looking to the UK and others to attract many investments from various markets.
Saudi Arabia heavily relies on banks, in addition to investments in Saudi and British financial sector-related corporates, being an accessible space for all, the Saudi minister highlighted.
