Jazan Governor lays foundation stone for grain handling project at Jazan Port

Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, laid the foundation stone for the grain handling project of the United Feed Co., which will be developed on the Port of Jazan, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

Hussain Fadhli, CEO of Jazan City for Basic and Transformative Industries, highlighted the inauguration of the first phase of the project, which is one of the promising projects in the region.

 

He indicated that the project includes the construction and operation of grain silos for importing, producing and storing fodder, and will provide several job opportunities for young men and women in the region.

 

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu aims to provide a suitable and attractive investment environment to meet corporate needs and enhance cooperation with local and international companies and investors wishing to contribute to the city’s promising projects, Fadhli said.

 

He added that the project includes 24 silos with a total storage capacity of more than 300,000 tons, three production buildings, and four storage warehouses with a total area of over 15,000 square meters. In addition, it includes two factories for the production of feed and more than 10 production lines for the production of feed and packing trucks automatically.
