Goldman Sachs gets Saudi HQ license: Report

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. obtained a license from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Investment to open a regional headquarters (HQs) in Riyadh, Bloomberg reported.

 

Minister of Investment Khalid Al Falih said as many as 350 international companies, so far, were granted license to open their regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia, with the majority seeking to set up in Riyadh, Argaam earlier reported.

 

The Kingdom set the deadline for international companies to move their regional headquarters to Riyadh by January 2024.

 

In December 2023, the Ministry of Investment announced offering a new package of tax incentives for 30 years to attract regional headquarters of global firms.
