The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) launched its new advanced flexible work registration mechanism, which offers improved billing and registration of the periods of flexible work subscribers, according to a statement today, May 28.

Aspects of improvement and development of the flexible work registration mechanism entail no minimum requirement for the monthly regular working hours, albeit necessitating a maximum of 95 core hours.

Moreover, the registration of eight working hours under the flexible work schedule will be equivalent to a day of subscription in the social insurance system. One month of flexible work is calculated after filing a collective of 30 working days under the flexible work scheme, it noted.

The improvements also included relying on the actual working hours filed by the employer per each employee. Meanwhile, the billing process will be automated, based on the days computed on a monthly basis, eliminating the need to wait until reaching the quorum of hours.

According to GOSI, the new advanced mechanism came in its efforts to achieve its strategic goal of enhancing customer satisfaction. It is also aimed at motivating flexible work subscribers to complete the core hours required as subscription periods, while providing greater flexibility in terms of billing to subscribers and employers alike.
