The Helicopter Co. (THC) plans to boost its fleet from 49 helicopters currently to 65 by the end of 2024, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Commercial Director Musab Binafif.

In addition, the company aims to double this figure over the next years, Binafif noted, adding that THC provides its services to major projects in Saudi Arabia, such as NEOM, The Red Sea, Amala, and Qiddiya, in addition to some government agencies, including the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.

In March 2019, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, announced the launch of THC, the Kingdom' first national commercial helicopter operator, according to data available with Argaam.
