Industry Ministry allocates 2 Sand and Gravel deposits in Asir

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the allocation of two sand and gravel deposits in Bisha Governorate in the Aseer region, which will be offered on the mining platform.

 

The ministry stated that the allocation includes the sand deposit complex east of the Gulf in Bisha, covering 8.54 square kilometers (sq km), and the sand deposit complex north of Al-Shaqiqah in Bisha, covering 13.36 sq km, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The ministry aims to encourage investment in the mining sector, attract specialized companies, and protect the mining complexes from irregular encroachments, as stipulated by the Mining Investment Law regulations.
