MSCI plans changes to Saudi indices on Aramco’s secondary offering

MSCI Inc announced today, June 2, that it will implement some changes to its indices due to the exceptional secondary offering of Saudi Aramco.

 

Changes, if any, will be implemented as of the close of trade on June 12 (to be effective from June 13), MSCI said in a statement.

 

Aramco started today the book-building process for institutional investors to sell 1.545 billion shares.

 

The retail offering will run from June 3-5.
