Oil tanks
Crude oil inventories in the US rose by 2.26 million barrels during the week ended June 14, American Petroleum Institute (API) data showed.
Gasoline stocks fell by 1.07 million barrels, while distillate stocks (including diesel and heating oil) rose by 538,000 barrels during the same period.
On June 18, Brent crude for August delivery rose 1.3%, or $1.08, to $85.33 per barrel. WTI crude for July delivery increased by 1.5% to $81.57 per barrel.
