The World Defense Show (WDS), organized by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), said that half of the 2026 edition of the exhibition space has been sold, Asharq Al-Awsat reported.

The show received high demand from international exhibitors following the success of the second edition in 2024, which attracted 773 exhibitors in an expanded area last February.

Andrew Pearcey, the CEO of the exhibition, noted that the team will work to raise the numbers of official delegations, exhibitors, and visitors, in addition to increasing the numbers of speakers and participants in discussion sessions and presentations.

He also indicated that the WDS is working on supporting the global defense and security industry, as it’s a gateway to partnership and collaboration with the Saudi Arabian defense industry.

More importantly, he added, the show is a global networking and policymaking event, welcoming senior delegations from around the world to meet representatives of the international defense industry in a confidential and impartial setting.
