The board of Health Holding Co. (HHC) met under the chairmanship of Minister of Health, Fahad Al-Jalajel, to discuss preparations for the launch of the second phase of the Ministry of Health's transformation. It identified three health clusters as the first batch to transition to Health Holding.

The board approved the organizational structures of the health clusters and the placement of the employees, who will transfer the Ministry of Health to HHC. The salary of an employee would not be less than what they receive earlier, in accordance with Cabinet decision No. 616.

Moreover, civil service employees will be integrated after the transfer in the benefit exchange system between civil and military retirement systems and that of GOSI. Similarly, the service of the self-employed will be considered continuous after the transfer, according to the decision, Saudi Press Agency reported.

HCC board highlighted the importance of implementing the modern healthcare model provided by the health clusters, aiming to improve health service quality and focus on human health before illness.

It also highlighted the importance of investing in and retaining employees. A tailored training program has been established to meet skill and leadership needs, ensuring effective performance in providing high-quality healthcare in the next phase, which requires delivering all health services to beneficiaries.

Last January, the Ministry of Health (MoH) completed the first phase of its transformation by launching health clusters across Saudi Arabia, according to data compiled by Argaam.
