Nazaha investigates 382 suspects, arrests 155 in June

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations into a number of criminal and administrative cases through 924 inspection tours in April 2024.

 

Nazaha said on the X platform that 9,623 inspection tours were conducted at the holy sites and service agencies during the Hajj season.

 

The authority investigated 382 persons and arrested 155 suspects, some of whom were released on bail for being involved in bribery, money laundering, and forgery.

 

The arrested included employees at the Ministries of Interior, Health, Education, Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, Trade, Transport and Logistics, Culture, as well as the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
