Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds rose by about SAR 4.7 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 556.9 billion in May, data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.
On the other hand, SAMA’s assets decreased by SAR 91 billion MoM to nearly SAR 1.91 trillion in May, as shown in the table below:
