OPEC oil output soars for 2nd straight month: Report

OPEC's oil production climbed month-on-month (MoM) by 70,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 26.7 million bpd in June, a survey by Reuters showed.

 

This came amid increased supplies in Nigeria and Iran, offsetting the impact of voluntary production cuts by other member nations.

 

The OPEC+ alliance is scheduled to review its next steps on supplies when members meet virtually on Aug. 1.
