SISCO Holding unit signs contract to develop water recycling plant in NEOM

Sustained Infrastructure Holding Co.(SISCO Holding) announced that a joint venture between its subsidiary, International Water Distribution Co. (Tawzea) and Spain’s Lantania Co., signed a contract with NEOM to develop the Al-Badaa water recycling plant worth SAR 316.2 million, excluding VAT.
 
The 24-month contract was awarded and signed on July 15, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
 
 

Tawzea will work in a 50/50 partnership with Lantania to carry out the engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning for the Al Badaa water recycling plant enhancements projects, as well as an interim biosolids treatment facility, an interim innovation centre and a biosolids demonstration centre.

 

The financial impact of the project is expected to be reflected in the fourth quarter of 2024, the statement added.
