Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) Director-General Ibrahim Al-Omar said the state-run airline is set to receive 15 or 16 aircraft in 2026, as part of a purchase agreement for 105 aircraft with Airbus.

In an interview with Asharq News, Al-Omar added that the remaining aircraft will be delivered gradually between 2026 and 2030, noting that the manufacturing of each aircraft takes approximately 45 days to two months.

In May, Saudia announced the largest deal in the Kingdom’s aviation history with Airbus for 105 aircraft, data compiled by Argaam showed.
