Saudi Arabia's exports of chemical industry and related products dropped 14% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 5.75 billion in April 2024.
Compared to March, the chemicals exports fell by 15%, or SAR 1.004 billion.
The exports of chemical industry and related products represented 26% of April’s SAR 22.4 billion non-oil exports, as shown in the following table:

China topped the list of chemical product importers from Saudi Arabia with nearly SAR 840 million, accounting for 14.6% of the total exports of chemical products in April. India and the UAE followed with 12.4% and 8.6%, respectively, as shown in the table below:

Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry and related products reached SAR 5.97 billion in April, rising 10% YoY.
Chemicals imports fell 10%, or SAR 694.1 million, compared to March, accounting for 10% of the total imports of SAR 60.3 billion, as shown in the following table:
