SAMA confirms safety of payment, banking systems

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) confirmed the safety of its payment and banking systems in the Kingdom, which were unaffected by the technical glitch that several entities around the world experienced today.

In a statement, the central bank added that it applies the highest globally recognized operational and cybersecurity standards and practices to the national payment and technical systems connected with other financial institutions.
