Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia stood at SAR 2.55 trillion by the end of Q1 2024, up 6% from Q4 2023, according to data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Foreign direct investments (FDIs) represented 32%, or SAR 817.7 billion, of the total for the first three months of this year.

 

For the same period, portfolio investments, which include equity, investment funds and debt bonds, reached SAR 1.08 trillion. Other investments amounted to SAR 646.4 billion.
