GOSI says insurance benefit expenses hit SAR 33B in Q2 2024

The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) announced that the total expenses for insurance benefits, which include the public and private sectors, amounted to more than SAR 33 billion for the second quarter of 2024, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing a statement. 

 

GOSI said the expenses of the unemployment insurance scheme (Saned) amounted to SAR 344 million, while the expenses of the occupational hazards insurance amounted to more than SAR 179 million. 

 

It indicated that the completed transactions amounted to more than 9.5 million, which were electronically carried out through all of the organization’s digital outlets and channels.
