RGA completes several road construction works in H1 2024

The Roads General Authority (RGA) announced the completion of several road works during the first half of 2024, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

 

The works included the completion of 813,850 cubic meters of asphalt, 12.31 million cubic meters of earthworks, the installation of 120,270 linear meters of concrete barriers and 70,540 linear meters of metal fencing.

 

Additionally, the authority completed the implementation of approximately 228,000 units of ground markings, installed 4,540 guiding and warning signs, and conducted ground painting works covering about 640,000 linear meters.

These achievements are part of RGA’s continuing efforts to develop and improve the road network throughout the Kingdom, improving economic and social development and enhance connectivity between various regions.
