Public taxi companies approved to add, replace cars

Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, issued a decision allowingthe licensed public taxi companies that have not satisfied the minimum requirements for practicing the activity to add cars, provided that the number of cars at the company does not exceed the minimum required to practice the activity.

Under the decision, the licensed companies are allowed to replace the cars whose lifetime ended in 2023 and beyond, the official Umm Al-Qura newspaper reported.
