The international rig count decreased by 106 units year-on-year (YoY) in July, but rose by seven units month-month (MoM), bringing the total count to 1,713, data of energy services firm Baker Hughes showed.
The oil rigs in the Middle East rose by three units MoM and 11 YoY, reaching a total of 345.
The international rig count, except for the US and Canada, fell by 23 units MoM to 934.
